Yamaha R15 V3 Indian Edition is similar to the Indonesian Edition, but there are some changes. The bike carries the same 155.1cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine with 6 speed transmission and VVA(Variable Valve Acceleration). The major changes in the Yamaha R15 V3 Indian Edition comparing to the Indonesian Edition is the front shock absorber, brakes, and graphics. The Indian Edition has conventional telescopic front suspension rather than the USD unit on the Indonesian Edition, and the graphics and color options are different. One thing that gives the Yamaha R15 V3 Indian Edition advantage is the Dual Channel ABS. The bike has 282mm disc on the front wheel and 220mm disc on the rear, and both brakes have ABS(Anti Lock Braking System) Enabled. It also has rear mud guard & Saree guard as standard.

ACI Motors - Yamaha Motorcycle Bangladesh is currently taking pre-booking for the bike. They have declared the price of the bike, which is 4,85,000 BDT. The minimum booking money for pre-booking is BDT 1,00,000.  Anyone who will pre-book the bike will get a 10,000 BDT discount on the total price of the bike. Moreover, any student who will pre-book the bike and will register in their own name, will get another 5,000 BDT discount on the price. The pre-booking of the bike has started from 7th May, and the pre-booking session will go on till 24th of May. The pre-booked bikes will be delivered after 25th of May.
