Death Of Dakar Rally Bike Rider Carles Falcon At Dakar Rally 2024

This year Dakar Rally is held on Saudi Arabia. But recently a days back we heard sad news from Dakar Rally 2024 Saudi Arabia, that Spanish rider Carles Falcon passed away. It was sad to hear from the family of Spanish rider Carles Falcon that he had passed away.
On stage two of Al Henakiyah race as special on, at 483 km the rider suffered a heavy fall and medical arrived quickly to evaluate his situation.
He was life-flighted to the Al Duwadimi hospital, then transported by air ambulance to a facility in Riyadh, and finally repatriated back home several days later. Even though the doctors did their best, the rider died due to his injuries.
For the second time, Carles Falcon aged 45 years was taking part in Dakar. In 2022, he concluded in the second position of 68 and joined the bikers category to be unassisted.

This year, he joined the TwinTrail Racing Team. Born in Tarragona and a great trial rider, he was an expert motorbike tour leader being also the off-road instructor. The organizers and competitors of Dakar offer their deepest condolences to his family members and friends.
