Bangladesh, a sporty scooter.

Yamaha Aerox is actually a moped or Scooter from the plant of Indonesia. But the main biggest bombshell in this is that they used this 155 cc Aerox engine at Yamaha R15 V3 (but with some tuning). This is a very serious scooter & it is made for performance & comfort.

The engine of the scooter sits under the seat of the rider on the rear, the engine is a water cooled version 155cc unit. It also has Smart Motor Generator (SMG) to make the engine noise smoother when turned on. The engine is equipped with Blue Core Technology for better fuel efficiency. It has no gears but has V Tech automatic transmission. The engine has VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) technology for efficiency at high rpm. The engine is also equipped with forged pistion & DiAsail cylinder which is a strong material but lightweight, so it helps the for maximum performance & at the same gives reliability to the engine.

It has sporty looking LED headlights & tail lights. Front indicators are integrated with the body of the scooter while the rears are the same unit used in Yamaha R15 V3. Under the seat there are 25 litre storage capacities which is good enough to carry helmet & other necessary things. Front suspensions are telescopic while the rear suspensions are swing unit. Yamaha Aerox 155 there are electric power socket to charge your phone, smart key system for keyless start of the scooter, start stop system to save fuel in traffic, 140 section tubeless rear tyre for better stability & safety. One of the most important feature of the scooter is the addition of ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), but because this only has a front disc brake the ABS is only for the front wheel while the rear wheel gets conventional drum brake.

The scooter weighs 118 kg & under the belly it can carry only 5 litres of fuel.  The scooter is equipped with a 5.8 inch LCD display speedometer. The speedometer is fully digital. Among the safety features it has smart lock key on the left brake & side stand indicator. We are still to test the scooter so for the time being we don’t have any data about the mileage & performance of the scooter but what we can say is that the ABS version of Yamaha Aerox 155 prices in Bangladesh 380,000 BDT. Moped & Scooter are very popular in countries like Thailand, Indonesia & Vietnam. In India Honda Activa is the most sold two wheels for best part for the last 3 years. According to our math's scooters will also become very popular in Bangladesh after 2019 when the price of motorcycles & scooters will come down a lot.
