2019 saw the launching of some of the most exclusive bikes in Bangladesh in the 150 cc segment. We also saw the launching of many ABS (Anti Lock Braking System) equipped bikes.  Today we will talk about the list of Upcoming Bikes In BD 2020.

Yamaha

Yamaha last year launched FZS series motorcycle with ABS & Fi system, they also launched the Indian version of Yamaha MT15 & Yamaha R15 V3, we are expecting that this year Yamaha will launch an off-road bikes, along with premium café racer, Yamaha XSR 155.

Yamaha XSR 155 has the same engine as Yamaha R15 V3. The power & Torque delivery will also be the same. Yamaha might also introduce XTZ150, an off-road motorcycle in the 150cc segment.

Honda

In the year 2019 Honda launched some new bikes in the market. They launched the locally manufactured Honda Livo, Shine SP & most importantly, Honda X Blade.  In the year 2020, we believe Honda will launch the CBS & ABS version of Honda CB Hornet 160R (2019). This bike will feature LED headlight, new graphics & most importantly, single-channel ABS.

We also think that Honda might work on an off-roading motorcycle. We have seen already that Honda is very strong in the scooter segment so they might also work a bit on it. The bike which I am looking forward to this year of whether Honda will introduce Honda CB150R Streetfire in Bangladesh, a bike that I believe will click a lot if introduced.

Suzuki

This motorcycle company has a lot to give to customers. Bangladeshi bikers are waiting to see and ride the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer & Suzuki Gixxer SF. Both the 2019 version went through cosmetic changes, they got ABS, & also a tune in the power output. Gixxer & Gixxer SF has been around in Bangladesh for a long time so a change is cosmetically.

Kawasaki

Bajaj 

Bajaj introduced a wide range of bikes last year. Bajaj Pulsar NS160 Fi & ABS, Pulsar Neon. This year I don’t expect any premium motorcycles from them but am expecting to see some commuting level bikes, like Platina 110 H Gear & most importantly Bajaj Avenger 160 a cruiser motorcycle from the brand.

TVS

Last year TVS also introduced some new bikes but among the TVS Apache RTR 4V (Dual Disc) clicked. This year we are expecting TVS to launch Apache RTR160 4V Fi with ABS, as most motorcycle companies will offer ABS in their bikes in 2020 I doubt TVS will fall behind them. I am also hoping that they launch TVS NTorq, I saw them in Goa last year and really hoping to see this premium 125 cc scooter in Bangladesh this year.

Hero 

Currently other than introducing some new scooters, I don’t see any new bikes launching from Hero this year, I think Hero might introduce some new models in India and them come to the tail end of the year it will come in India.

Lifan

The new Lifan KPR150 with a completely new design has been rendering for a long time over the internet & we are hoping that come to the end of the year Lifan will finally introduce Lifan KPR150 with split seat, underbelly exhaust, front USD front suspensions & many other new features. It is high time that Lifan does that.

There will be Dhaka Bike Show in March of 2020. BikeBD will participate at Dhaka Bike Show and will bring lots of new things for the bikers.
