Suzuki Motorcycle & scooter has showcased the new Suzuki Burgman Street 125 scooter last July on 2018 Auto Expo, India. Hence we are herewith Suzuki Burgman Street 125 Scooter Feature Review to describe the features of the new scooter. It’s an entry-level 125cc premium Maxi Scooter that also has the possibility to hit our market. So here are the details of Burgman Street 125.

Suzuki Burgman Street 125 Scooter – Overview

Suzuki Burgman is the luxury scooter series that caries the legacy from 1998. It s a Maxi Scooter series of Suzuki, hence it’s bulky and much bigger in dimensions. The scooter specially has build for better comfort and luxury commuting.

The Suzuki Burgman series has a wide range of scooters with the engine displacement from 125cc to 650cc. All the Burgman scooters caries the luxury profile and all of those are Maxi Scooters. Coming to the Burgman Street 125 it’s the lowest capacity Burgman that caries the same DNA of Suzuki Burgman series.

Suzuki Burgman Street 125 – Design & Ergonomics

At the first we have mentioned as Suzuki Burgman is the luxury Maxi-Scooter series. The maxi Scooters are designed with quite bulky profile. Its design & dimension also is much roomy then other the regular scooters. Hence it’s spacious, comfortable and reflects the elegancy.

Coming to the overall looks & design Burgman Street 125 is muscled and curvy all over the body panels. From head to tail its bulky, muscled and comes with huge curves. Furthermore, all the panels are crafted with sleek dual tone shade whereas chrome touching on panels increased its elegancy.

The headlamp assembly of this scooter is iconic to the Burgman series. The assembly is huge and quite looked like an alien head. Here the entire lighting arrangement therefore headlamp, parking lamp and eyebrow DRL are profiled with LED lamps.

The back panel therefore the tail lamp unit of the Burgman Street 125 is also quite huge. It crafted with pointed and stripped LED tail lamp settings. Hence under the heavy & wider grab rail the assembly looks pretty gorgeous along with huge shape of exhaust. Here again the turning indicators are body mounted and obviously those are LED typed.

Coming to the front panel of the scooter is just gorgeous. The ODO is full digital unit with sharp backlit; the handlebar looks nice with all the control switch and levers. Lastly the inner panel before the rider seat its matt finished and that nicely matched with the 3D curved seat color.

Suzuki Burgman Street 125 – Features & Enhancements

The new Suzuki Burgman Street 125 is a luxury scooter that comes with dedicated features. The scooter design itself a gorgeous feature whereas other addition just increases its utility and luxury.

Here the seat is 3D curved at the front and wider toward the pillion. Hence it helps to tackle the scooter easily in traffic and rider also can enjoy cruising seating relaxed behind.

The inner front panel before the rider is open and quite large due to on bone paneling. Here rider can put his/her leg flat on the surface and also can place tilted riding like a cruiser.

Here under the handlebar there are on the panel there is a 2 liter capacity glove pit and a gadget compartment. The glove pit is open but the gadget compartment has a door where inside there USB charging facility can be added.

Hence coming to the storage facility there is a storage compartment under the seat. The compartment is spacious enough and has the capacity of 21 liters. Here you should note the fuel tank also mounted beside the storage pit.

Here again the scooter also has two hanging hooks to hold small bags or something like the helmet. One of the hooks mounted before the rider seat and another just place on the panel under the handlebar.

Lastly again the design of the scooter itself a good feature. All the light and signals of Burgman are body mounted. So there is no loose end which is safer considering riding in tight traffic. In that sequence the pillion foot peg, kicker and side stand everything nicely mattes underneath the panel. So Burgman is smart & cool.

Suzuki Burgman Street 125 – Wheel, Brake & Suspension

New Suzuki Burgman Street 125 is an urban commuter. It profiled for luxury commuting and cruising on the urban terrains. Hence the wheel, brake and suspension system of the scooter equipped as to serve better according to its class & legacy.

The wheels of the Burgman are 12” in front and 10” in rear. Rims are cast rim those comes with tubeless type street tires. Here the front wheel is fitted with hydraulic type disk brake where the rear one is drum brake. The scooter also featured with CBS braking system for more safety.

Coming to the suspension system here the front suspension is telescopic fork with hydraulic suspensions. The rear suspension is sealed hydraulic type with external coil spring and it’s single. Hence considering wheel, brake & suspension the Burgman is balance featured.

Suzuki Burgman Street 125 – Engine & Transmission Features

You know the new Burgman Street 125 is the youngest Burgman that comes with precisely a 124cc engine. Hence its s a single-cylinder, four-stroke and air-cooled type engine that delivers compatible range of power and torque.

It can deliver the maximum power of 8.7PS and torque of 10.2NM whereas the engine comes with a CVT. Therefore the transmission and clutch are automatic. So rider has no hassle to maintain clutch and shifting gears. Hence riding Burgman Street 125 is fun and easy for any kind of riders.
