Runner Knight Rider V2 – Race Tuned Ergonomics

The new Runner Knight Rider V2 is one of the latest additions in the Runner 2020 product line. In the street naked category, the motorcycle came with some new updates and enhancements. Hence the Knight Rider V2 is featured more updated than the existing Knight Rider version-1.

Version-2 is featured with both cosmetic and technical updates. Hence, the new model got some exterior refreshments as well as new color and sticker jobs. From the front and back the new version looking the same as the previous version. It carrying the same sculped sporty headlamp and compact taillamp.

The attractive looking sporty split seat and the side panels are also the same as the version-1. But the new version-2 got a new graphics scheme on the common body parts. Here the mentionable exterior updates came in the new version on the fuel tank and lower mid-panel.

The Runner Knight Rider V2 got new fuel tank shrouds in its both sides. It looks sharp, appealing, and has increased the aerodynamic characteristics. Here the engine also got sporty underbelly cowling. It helps to protect the engine from the dirt & mud. Moreover, it helps for better airflow to the heat-sensitive engine top.

Overall with impressive exterior updates and new color & graphic schemes, the new version got a different identity. It looks sporty, attractive, and appealing. Further, the technical updates gave it extended capabilities and advancements which we are describing in different clauses.

Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System

The new Runner Knight Rider V2 featured with the same frame, wheel, and suspension system as featured in version-1. Here the frame is a diamond steel frame. The wheels are featured with alloy rims and tubeless type tires in both wheels.

In the braking system, the version-2 got enhancement at the rear setup. Here both the wheels are featured with hydraulic-disk brakes, where version-1 featured the disk brake only in front. In the suspension system, the new version equipped with the hydraulic telescopic fork suspension in the front. Here the rear is the same mono as was in version-1.

Handling and controlling Features

The new Runner Knight Rider V2 copies the same handling and controlling features as were in Knight Rider version-1. The motorcycle follows the sporty upright riding posture with an upright pipe handlebar, sporty split seat, and other control levers. Hence the riding and controlling characteristics are fun and comfort assuring.

Moreover, the 143kg dry weight and 160mm of ground clearance give the advancement of dealing better in different ride conditions. Further well-featured wheel, brake, and suspension systems allow better handling and controlling in both city and highway rides.

Runner Knight Rider V2 Engine & feature

The new Runner Knight Rider V2 holds the same 150cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled, CBF engine as given in version-1. The engine is featured with 2-valve and carburetor fuel feeding system. Here the transmission system is designed with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine starting system is featured with both kick and electric start system.

In the version-2 the engine is tweaked for better throttle response and more fuel economy. Additionally, the clutch and gear system have updated for smoother clutch and gear operations. Therefore, the Knight Rider V2 race-tuned engine is more refined and efficient. Meanwhile, the engine power and torque figure remaining the same with 8.9kW of power and 12.2NM of torque.
