Runner Automobiles launched brand new motorcycle during the Dhaka Bike Show 2016, Runner Turbo 125.  The bike is a new addition to the product line up of Runner after last year they launched 4 new products. Runner is growing up their product lineup day by day with more stylish bikes.

Runner Automobiles launched Brand New Motorcycle

Back in 2014 we tested their only 150cc bike Runner Turbo 150 & if you look closely then you will find lots of similarities in terms of design between them .Runner Turbo 125 shares the same chassis and design which Runner Turbo 150 has in the current market, according to Runner Automobiles Ltd the new bike will give better balance between speed and mileage then Turbo 150. Currently they have discontinued Runner Turbo 150 and will launch a new version of the bike soon.

Runner Turbo 125 has the following features:

• New graphic design.
• Two piston front disc brake.
• Full on DC halogen headlight.
• Front leg guard.
• Digital Speedometer.
• Ignition Key Lock System.
• Saree Guard.

The first look of Runner Turbo is really very impressive. The overall design, color scheme is very much attractive. There are some eye catching corners like diamond shape head lamp, also the double horn rear panel with the tail lamp.

The diamond shape head lamp with two pilot lamps and a blue DRL (daytime running light) on the top. The tail lamp is also very slick and unique in design. They kept the same old digital speedometer with an analog REV counter. And impressively there is digital speedometer with a gear change indicator. There is also fuel gauge indicated in LCD bars.

The handle bar is well wide spread and it good for commuting ride, the turning radius of the bike is good too. Switch gears of the bike could have improved a bit but glad that they still gave a pass light and engine kill switch to the bike. The whole system is DC & from our previous experience we can share that headlight is powerful enough for highway ride.

The fuel tank is huge in size and loads about 15 liters of fuel. The seating arrangement is wide, and off-course comfortable for long distance tour. The rear is from 90/90-18, but sadly the tyres are not tubeless a trick which they missed again, neither there are any rear disc brake.

One of the best things about the new Turbo is that the engine is very powerful, it produces 11.3 BHP and 11.0 NM of torque, the bike have a 5 speed gearbox and the company claims a mileage of 45 -50 km/L and a Top Speed of around 120 km/h mark. The bike is equipped with both KICK and SELF starter.

One of the striking things about this bike is that Runner have put some concentration on styling of their bikes, Runner Turbo 125 will cost you 1,25,000 BDT on the market and I think it is a bit over priced given their 150cc Turbo cost 1,40,000 BDT. The good news from Runner Automobiles is that they will give bikes in installments even without any down payment, & if you can give back the money within 3 months they won’t charge you any interest.

It is nice to see that Runner Turbo came alone this far, last year they showcased 4 motorcycles to us and this year we are also expecting that Runner Automobiles will showcase some very good products to us, there are some whisper that Runner will bring a very exclusive and powerful 150cc motorcycle come in the middle of this month.
