TVS Launched Apache RTR160 4V In India
Today TVS Auto Ltd launched TVS Apache RTR160 4V in India. The bike is expected to come in Bangladesh but we are not sure when it will come but we are guessing that it might take a time of 6 months at least.
TVS Apache RTR160 4V is a brand new motorcycle from the company. This time around they launched 3 versions of the bike
- Base Version: Single disc brake & Carburetor engine
- Mid Version: Duel disc brake & Carburetor engine
- Premium Version: Duel disc brake & Electronic Fuel Injected (EFI) engine.
The whole bike is a small brother of TVS Apache RTR200 4V. Both shares the same headlight, tail light, side tank scoop, double barrel exhaust, full digital speedometer and many other things. But in 160 4V they gave rod handle & single seat.
The engine of the bike will feature a single cylinder 4 valves & the cooling system will be oil cooled (like Bajaj Pulsar NS160) . The carburetor version will produce 16.2 BHP & EFI version will produce 16.5 BHP. Both the engine will produce 14.8 NM of Torque.
In terms of suspensions it will have conventional telescopic front suspensions while mono suspensions on the rear. Base version of the bike will 110 mm rear tyre while the bikes with rear disc brake will have 130 mm rear tyre. The bikes will weight between 143 kg to 147 kg for the EFI version.
All the versions will have 270 mm petal disc brake while the rear ones will be either 200 mm disc brake or 130 mm drum brakes. 17 inches allow wheels are present in all the bikes. With Bangladesh having the permission of motorcycles up to 165cc there are no barrier for this motorcycle to come in Bangladesh but the question is when will TVS Auto Bangladesh bring this motorcycle confirm us that TVS Apache RTR160 4V will launch in Bangladesh on July - August of 2018.
We will let know when we get the idea but looking at the Indian price I think this bike might be priced under the price of Bajaj Pulsar NS160 & Honda Hornet 160R in Bangladesh. Pictures are collected from google and zigwheels.com
