For the past few days I was up & down the showrooms in Bangladesh talking so much about Yamaha bikes, two of the bikes that were recently launched in Bangladesh were Yamaha M Slaz & Yamaha FZ 150i, both of them are special in their own meaning and people are all over the place wanting to ride them and buy them, and just as you thought things can’t get any better Honda launched BRAND new Honda CBR150R in Indonesia, according to our equation Honda CBR150R 2016 in Bangladesh launching soon.

Honda CBR150R 2016 in BD launching soon

There is already a duel headlight version of Honda CBR150R in Indonesia but the 2016 version just raised the bar by many times. The bike still gets the old engine but this time the power figure will be lowered then that of Indian versions, the Indian CBR150R has 18.3 BHP while this bike will get 16.9 BHP & 13.7 NM of Torque which is more than the Indian Honda CBR150R.

In the launch program (In Indonesia) Honda officials said that the new Honda CBR150R is a newly design bike with many great features, the bike get a new aggressive look which will scare the mighty Yamaha R15 V2. The bike also have these following features

• New aggressively looking duel front headlight.
• Split seat and the rear end is upper this time like R15 V2.
• The swing arm is lengthening by 13 mm.
• Engine is now tilted forward by 40 degree for better weight distribution.
• The front fairing is lower for better aerodynamic, increasing speed and mileage.
• New LCD Digital instrument cluster.
• New full LED headlight.
• Compression ratio is now 11.3:1.
• The bike now weighs 135 kg.
• Fuel capacity gone down to 12 litres.
• New alloy wheels.
• New exhaust systems.
• New & better quality switch gears.
• Handle bars are lowered for sportier seating position.

It does look a good promise for the HONDA lovers in Bangladesh, the bike still gets the same old suspensions and most important of all they forgot to install the ENGINE KILL SWITCH with the bike for some reason.

Honda CBR150R 2016 Specifications

From my personal perspective I think this bike will be a game changer in Bangladesh, as for now in terms of style nobody likes the current Honda CBR150R also their body kit and switch gear is not as good when we compare to what Yamaha have in offer in the same price range.

The new bike does looks fabulous from every angle, the sharp aggressive headlight, the seating position & speedometer console everything raised the bar higher by Honda. Yes this bike will cost you more than the current Honda CBR150R but I think even if it does it is worth the buy.

Am not sure how the tweak down in power and increase in torque will perform on track but when it will come in Bangladesh I will try my level best to have a test ride of it. We are still not sure when the bike will be launch in Bangladesh, but due to some official issues we won’t be able to release the details of WHEN & WHO will bring 2016 Honda CBR150R in Bangladesh from Indonesia. As soon as we get final authentic confirmation we will release details about the price, launch date of the bike.
