Bajaj reduced the price of 4 motorcycle models in the commuting segment. There most reduction came in the 125 cc segment where they reduced around 8,000 BDT while in the other 100cc segment they reduced the price by 3000 - 4000 BDT.

Bajaj CT 100 Bajaj CT 100 is 100cc segmented commuter bike. Its engine four stroke, single cylinder air cooled engine. Engine displacement is 99.27cc bore and stroke 53mm*45mm. This engine produce 8.2ps @ 7,500rpm and 8.05NM torque @ 4,500rpm. Four step gear transmission with the engine. Ignition is CDI and kick start.

Bajaj Platina ( kick & Electric ) In Bajaj commuter segment Platina is one the highest selling bike in Bangladesh. This bike used in rural area of Bangladesh. Its one kind of taxi service. But it has a powerful engines of 102cc single cylinder, two valves air cooled engine. This engine produced 8.2 PS @ 7,500rpm and 8.6 NM torque @ 5000rpm. Four step gear transmission attached with engine. Fuel tank capacity is 11 liter.

Bajaj Discover 100 Bajaj discover 100 has single cylinder four strokes air cooled engine. Though it’s a 100cc bike its engine displacement 94.38cc. Engine produce about to 7.7 PS @ 7,500rpm and 7.85 NM torque @ 5000rpm. Clutch is wet multiplate and engine attached with five steps gear box. Fuel tank capacity is 8 liter.

Bajaj Discover 125 (Drum & Disc) Bajaj Discover 125 has 124.52cc engine single cylinder four stroke air cooled engine.It produce 11BHP @ 8000 rpm and 10.80NM torque. Five steps gear transmission with engine. Fuel tank capacity 8 liters. Now we have to wait to see what will be the impact of this price reduction. Will the competitors also take this as a challenge.
