TVS Metro is one of the most fuel efficient 100 cc bike in Bangladesh. The bike is very nimble and most people who ride this bike have given positive feedback about it. This Sunday they have launched an upgraded version of Metro, TVS Metro Plus (+).

The bike is a combination of modern styling with superior engine performance. The bike is equipped with a 110 cc new ‘ECOthrust’ engine. It is a commuting bike which has good power and torque delivery. According to TVS officials the bike will return a stunning mileage of 86 km/L while the bike will have 0-60 figure of 7.6 second. The top speed of the bike is noted to be 90 km/h.

The bike will have two drum brakes, a 4 speed manual gear box, and most important of all, electric start. The bike is programmed in such a way that it will start at any gear you want. The bike also features a digital dashboard with an analog speedometer, the speedometer has many warning lights and chief among them is the service reminder indicator which will help the rider to know when to service the bike.

The bike will feature 3 colours: Scarlet, Black & Blue. The bike will be price higher later in time but a special price has been announce on the day of the launching ceremony for a fixed amount of time for early customers of the bike. The bike will cost: 1,35,500 BDT. With each bike comes 2 years engine warranty and after sales service from a wide network of TVS all over Bangladesh.

TVS Auto Bangladesh is planning to increase its market share in the 100 cc segment from 12% to 25% by 2016. The company has a 20% market share in the Bangladesh industry. The company grew 40% more compare to last year & they are expecting that the bike industry will be bigger in the coming years.
