They were teasing the bike on their official Facebook page for quiet sometimes and finally today Rancon Motorbikes Ltd launches Suzuki GSX 125 in Bangladesh. The bike will have a price tag of 134,950 BDT in Bangladesh.

Currently, Suzuki only has Suzuki Hayate as the only commuting motorcycle in Bangladesh while all the rest of their motorcycle lineup are concentrated in the 150 cc segment in either in the sports bike segment or in the sports commuter segment. This bike will be powered by a 125cc single-cylinder air cooling engine which will produce 10.4 BHP @ 9000 RPM & 9.2 NM of Torque @ 7000 RPM.

The has been fitted with a carburator and will have a 5 speed gearbox with both self & kick starter. The bike feature high ground clearance of 167mm with a saddle height of 765mm. The bike weighs 126 kg added to the fuel tank has a capacity of 14.2 litres. Like most conventional bikes in this segment, they gave telescopic front suspensions with hydraulic coil spring damper on the rear.

Although the front tyres are 2.75/18 they gave 90 section rear tyre which we believe is a good thing as not many bikes in this segment has 90 section rear tyre. Suzuki did fitted tubeless tyres on both the wheels. Although the rear brake is only a drum brake but upfront they gave disc brake which is situated on the left side of the wheel. Some of the other features of the bikes are sided fuel tank shroud, three-part handlebar, fully analogue speedometer, halogen headlight, bulb tail light, alloy wheels. The bike will be available in 3 different colours, Black, Red & Blue.
