Hero is among the famous motorcycle brands in Bangladesh. In the recent past, Hero Bangladesh has launched two new models, Hero GlamourX and Xoom 125, during its Community Update-2 event.

Hero Launches New 125cc Models GlamourX And Xoom 125

It took place on a Friday, February 6, 2026, in the corporate office of the Nitol-Niloy Group in Mohakhali, Dhaka. The event was designed on a small scale whereby invited bikers attended, and the official launching of the two new models was made as well as some crucial announcements and discussion.

This was launched by the release of the Hero Xoom 125 in the 125cc scooter market. The Xoom 125 is one of those international products that are popular in this category, and the product is fitted with Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation, a front disc brake, 14-inch alloy wheels, 120-section wide tyres and sequential indicators.

The Hero Xoom 125 that Hero markets is the quickest scooter in its category, with the ability to accelerate 0-60 km/h in 7.25 seconds. The scooter has been offered at Tk 208,000 and will be sold in three colours, namely Lime, Red, and Metallic Grey.

This was followed by Hero launching the GlamourX in the 125cc commuter. The motorcycle has a horsepower of 11.4, which is produced by its engine that supports Sprint EBT technology. It is important to note that the company states that the bike has over 60 features.

Among the main features are a smart TFT screen, Bluetooth, three riding modes, a smart solenoid valve, a USB Type-C charger, and cruise control.

Also advanced in this segment is the ride-by-wire of the bike and the panic braking alert system, which is new in the bike. The Hero GlamourX comes out in Black Pearl, Metallic Blue and Candy Red colour choices.

The cost of the GlamourX is to be priced at Tk 166,000. Things, however, changed on the day of the coming Eid-ul-Fitr, with Hero declaring a special offe,r meaning that the customers could buy the initial lot at a discounted price amounting to Tk 163,000.

Moreover, the Managing Director of Hero Bangladesh, Abdul Musabbir Ahmed, stated that Hero bikers would have insurance facilities.

According to this scheme, an insurance coverage of Tk 100,000 and Tk 25,000 will be offered in case of death and injury, respectively. The package will also consist of a 24-hour online doctor consultation.

Reporting about the Hero Xpulse, Ahmed stated that the release of the model can be delayed again. Nevertheless, he guaranteed bikers that the test rides and pre-bookings will either be done prior to Eid or after Eid.
