FKM Street Scrambler 165 SX Hits the Road!

FKM is a European bike brand which entered into Bangladesh with two models - The FKM Street Fighter and FKM Street Scrambler. The FKM Street Fighter is a good naked sports bike, but we are here to talk about the first scrambler to enter into Bangladesh. FKM Scrambler 165 is a bit different bike than the everyday standard or Sports Bike. The sheer looks and aesthetics of this bike tell everyone that this is a different breed than most. And a price tag of 2,15,000 BDt also puts it on the 165cc premium segment.

The headlight of the bike grabs the first attention. It is a trapezoid-shaped LED  headlight with a completely naked light mount system. The LED indicator over the headlamp looks so much aggressive, so does the color option. The speedometer is fully digital and displays all the necessary data and indications. The bike has a keyless ignition system which is the most modern experience on bike starting.

The wide pipe handlebar and the fuel tank with aggressive cowlings are just the starts of the whole aesthetics of the bike. There are split seats and the seat covers have a color and design nobody has seen in bikes of this segment. The leather seats alone give a royal classic vibe to the whole riding experience. The taillight is differently styled along with the grab rails, the mudguard, and the fat exhaust. The front inverted suspensions with spoke wheels on both wheels provide a purely modern day scrambler vibe where modern technology met with classic origins for the ultimate riding joy.

FKM Street Scrambler 165SX - The Powercore

The news Scrambler in town is powered by a 164cc single cylinder four stroke air cooled engine. The engine has an Electronic Fuel Injection System (EFI) as the fuel supply system. It produces 15 BHP of power and 14.5 Nm of torque in the highest peak. The powered is sent to the rear wheel via a 6-speed transmission. It has a single barrel exhaust system which in theory, should help the engine breath out well. The engine has only electric starting system, and the ignition is CDI.

FKM Street Scrambler 165SX - The Features

Despite carrying the soul of a classic scrambler, this bike has state of the art features and everything. It has an inverted front suspension along with monoshock in the back. Both the wheels are spoke wheels, and both the wheels are tubeless. The front tyre is 110 section, while the rear one is 140 section tyre. The tyres are designed with deep dual-sports styled grips to ensure the full characteristics of a Scrambler.

There are disc brakes on both the wheels, and the bike is equipped with Combined braking system (CBS). This means that upon pressing any single brake, both the breaks will work together for better and more efficient braking. The bike weighs 140 kilograms and has 12 liters of a fuel tank. The ground clearance is 180mm, meaning it can ride over almost anything and any surface without even a bit of hassle.

FKM Street Scrambler 165 SX is probably only brand new scrambler currently available in Bangladesh. With classic aesthetics and modern features, now it is up to the time which can prove if whether or not this is a proper modern day scrambler or not.
