Saluto carries a 125cc single cylinder air cooled engine. The engine produces 8.1 BHP & 10.1 NM of Torque. It is matted with a 4 speed gearbox . During our testing the top speed we achieved was 105 kmph & in terms of mileage even with a pillion we achieved 52 kmpl. The main reason for this high mileage is that the bike is equipped with Yamaha's Blue Core Technology.

The bike handles well and it is equipped with Nissin caliper single piston disc brake on the front of the bike. The handles well both in city or on the highway. The whole bike weighs 112 kg which is good for this segment. Also they have added tubeless tyres to this bike for additional safety. Dispite being a family commuter the bike has high ground clearance.

Yamaha is one of the most popular brand of motorcycle in the premium segment. With 20,000 price reduction in the R15 series I think most R15 lovers will get to enjoy the fantastic sports bike.
