Suzuki Launched Suzuki Samurai In Bangladesh!
In the early 2000s, Suzuki Samurai was a 100cc 2-stroke motorcycle also known as AX100, and in many names. After almost 20 years, Suzuki relaunched the name with a design and aesthetics that pay tribute to the original. The new Suzuki Samurai 150 was in early august by Suzuki in Bangladesh, and it has a price tag of 1,49,950 BDT! The new Samurai takes on the commuting design and concept of the previous Samurai - it is designed for a crowd that wants to have the power of a 150cc bike available at their disposal but parallelly wants a low maintenance machine with high mileage and running costs.
The engine in the new Samurai is a 149.5cc unit, producing 8.2 Kw of power and 11.5 Nm of torque. The engine is 4-stroke, OHC, air-cooled, and the fuel supply used in here is the carburetor. The bike has both self start and kick start options and a 5-speed manual gearbox like any conventional bike. It weighs 133 kg, and has a fuel tank capacity of 12.5 liters.
The whole design and parts and panels like the handlebar, seat, fuel tank, carrier in the back express the commuting concept of the bike. The front suspension is telescopic, while the rear has a dual swing arm suspension. The front tyre is 2.75-18 in size and the rear one is 90/90R-18 in size, both the tyres are a bit slim compared to other 150cc bikes in the market to provide better mileage. The bike has a disc brake upfront and a traditional drum brake in the rear.
A few days back Suzuki launched the Suzuki GSX 125 in Bangladesh, and now they have launched the Reborn Suzuki Samurai 150cc. These new bikes will surely attract so many and their good price tag will definitely ensure good value for money.
