PT Astra Honda which is a motorcycle manufacturer in Indonesia (the same country from where we get Honda CBR150R) launched a new adventure motorcycle in the name of Honda CB150X.

From the pictures which we found over the internet, we can see that the motorcycle is based on Honda CB150R Streetfire, my absolute favourite bike of all time. The bike features USD suspensions and a long seat to accommodate two people who can seat properly for long-distance rides.

Engine-wise they used the same as used in CB150R, single cylinder 4 valves 150cc liquid cooling engine. Although in the official brochure no power or torque figures is mentioned so look out for this space. The new adventure bike from Honda has a seat height of 817 mm & a ground clearance of 181 mm which is also needed when you will use this bike for off-roading.

They have given 100 section front tyre with 130 section rear tyre & both the tyres are fitted with 17 inches wheels. Front USD suspensions have a 37 mm stroke size while the rear there is a 150 mm Pro-Link mono-shock. Honda CB150X is fitted with a 12-litre fuel tank, twin disc brake, tubeless tyres & the bike weighs 140 kg.

Among other features, the bike gets a front LED headlight, rod handlebar, front windscreen to channel the air over the rider, under engine cowl to protect the engine from mud & stones & a fully digital speedometer.

Their new addition has been the brand new Honda CBR150 which has been their only sports bike lineup, we hope that in the near future BHL brings this Honda CB150X so that bikers in Bangladesh get a proper adventure bike, a market space that doesn’t have many options at the moment.
