Honda CBR150R is the 2^nd most popular sports bike in Bangladesh after Yamaha R15 V2, the bike has two versions in Bangladesh; one is Indian which is being distributed by Bangladesh Honda Private Ltd while the other is the Thai versions which are bought through importers. Both the Thai & Indian version carries the same engine & chassis but with different colour scheme but the build quality is better in the Thai version.

Not only has the Repsol Edition come with Motogp colour job on the bike it’s only the Repsol Edition which also comes with a replica signature of 2 times Motogp WC Marc Marquez which the normal edition bikes don’t have. The colour quality of Repsol Edition is also very good.

The bike carries a 150cc -cooled engine which has PGM-FI fuel injected, which carries 4 valves & the engine is double overhead camshaft.

The cooled system of the bike help for good acceleration and is good for long distance driving. The power is delivered to the rear wheels by a 6 speed transmission.

The frame of the bike is two twin diamonds, with front telescopic suspension while the rear suspension is monoshock which absorbs the bumps from the which also helps to make the bike more stable and will give great support on the corners something you want in a sports bike. The bike is very compact compare to its rival and features a saree guard.

The bike features tubeless tyres along with disc brake in both front & rear tyres, the speedometer feature an analog rev counter with digital speedometer which also shows the clock, trip meter, fuel gauge & engine temperature gauge. The exhaust of the bike is nicely curved.

 There is a rear grab rail in the bike for the pillion to hold tight when you release the enormous power.

The seating position of the bike is not very aggressive but more upright which will be very helpful for long distance travel.

There are three things I don’t like particularly of the bike, they are

• Poor switch quality of the bike, they are the exact same as Hero Passion.
• Headlight is not as powerful as like that of R15 V2.
• Back side of the bike is not good looking.

Overall I think Honda CBR150R Repsol Edition is a fantastic sports bike, yes in many places the bike is behind up against its rival but in terms of comfort and reliability & utter raw grunt nothing can come close to the mighty Honda CBR150R.
