HMCL Niloy Bangladesh Ltd who is the sole distributor of Hero Motorcycles in Bangladesh launches Hero Thriller 160R in Bangladesh. This is the first sports commuter motorcycle in Bangladesh from Hero in which they have added lots of new attractive features.

Hero Thriller 160R comes in Bangladesh with a price tag of 199,900 BDT for duel disc brake while the single disc brake variant comes with 189,990 BDT. Both the variant will carry single-channel ABS attach with the front wheel. The bike gets a 276mm front disc brake with a 220 mm rear disc brake as an option.

Hero claims that Thriller will sprint from o to 60kmph in 4.7 seconds, this is possible due to the powerful 163cc single-cylinder engine which is air cooling,  The engine of the bike produces 15 BHP @ 8500 RPM & 14 NM of Torque @ 6500 RPM. The engine is BS6 compliance and it is matted with a 5-speed gearbox. 

This is the first bike of Hero which comes with 7 steps adjustable rear mono-shock suspension, a 7 step adjustable rear mono-shock suspension, a fully LED headlight, an inverted LED meter console & a side stand indicator which will cut of the engine if the engine is in gear and side stand is down.

Hero introduced 2 patented technology in this bike, Xsens Technology which uses 10 intelligent sensors in the motorcycle which helps to give greater fuel efficiency to the bike & they also introduced auto sail which allows the rider to glide effortlessly through start-stop traffic.

The bike gets a 12-liter fuel tank and it weighs 140 kg. The bike gets a single seat & integrated pillion seat. They have given new switch gears to the bike & it comes with hazard indicators. The bike will have a wheelbase of 1327 mm, seat height of 790 mm & a ground clearance of 167 mm.

Hero didn't added a three-part handlebar, it has an upright handlebar that is very agile and easy to move about. Hero finally entered into the segment of the motorcycle which features a sports commuter with a Fuel Injection engine & single-channel ABS.
