Victor-R Cafe Racer 125
Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 Overview
Building a café racer or a scrambler in their garage or at least owning a well-built café racer has been the dream of many bikers. There have been very few attempts to make this dream come true for Bangladeshi bikers, as most manufacturers have been very ignorant towards this particular segment of motorcycles. However, Victor R was one of the first manufacturers to release a café racer in Bangladesh. The latest installment of Victor-R Cafe Racer 125.
The Victor R Classic 100 received a lot of appraisal due to the classic design, Victor R decided to launch a bike that is more dedicated to looking like a café racer. The new Victor-R Cafe Racer 125, better known as the Victor R Café Racer 125.
Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 Key Features:
The Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 is a café racer with a fully dedicated café racer design. A flat single pipe handlebar, with a thin tank for a lighter and more nimble design, a small dedicated seat for a single rider to race on, and a round headlight at the front for a wide field of view at night. In short, a complete café racer bike.
The Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 comes with a round LED futuristic headlight. It also has a round LED DRL with the headlight unit. It has a minimalistic round LED taillight. The indicators are also round, but they are halogen. The lights are a combination of the future and the past.
The bike comes in three colors:
All three bikes come with no decals, except the branding stickers.
Another special feature of the Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 is the exhaust system. The exhaust of the Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 very much resembles that of the Royal Enfield Bullet and the Royal Enfield Classic series. The sound may also sound similar, but it is much more subtle than that of the Royal Enfield bikes.
Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 Physical Attributes:
The Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 is a short motorcycle. It has a low saddle, with a generous ground clearance of 170mm. This ground clearance is more than enough for the city commute. It also has a 12.5liters of fuel capacity, which is a much larger tank than its predecessor. This will assist the fuel efficiency in making it a much suitable ride for longer roads.
The Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 has a small body compared to other bikes. The height, length, width, and weight of the Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 are 1080mm, 1905mm, 880mm, and 95kg respectively. The bike is one of the lightest bikes presently of the 125 segments in the country. This bike also has a very short wheelbase of 1245mm, which makes it very compact and nimble.
Engine and Transmission:
The Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 has a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, and 124.87cc engine. The engine is carbureted and air-cooled, which is expected at this price range. The engine pumps out around 10.5BHP at 8500rpm and 8.8Nm of torque at 7500rpm. The power is quite adequate compared to other bikes of this range. It has a possible mileage of around 48-55kmpl on average.
The Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 also has a basic wet multi-plate clutch system. There are 5 gears for the transmission, which means the power at downshifting during overtaking will be much more. It is expected to have a top speed of around 105kmph.
Brakes, Suspensions, and Wheels:
The Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 comes with a disc-drum combination of brakes. The front wheel has a disc brake, which is an upgrade from the previous version. It consequently increases the braking performance of the bike by miles. The bike has a drum brake at the rear wheel, which may not be the best, but it is enough for a bike of this capacity.
The Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 comes with a telescopic fork set up at the front and a telescopic spring-loaded setup at the rear. The front telescopic forks are expected to respond well on the road. The rear dual spring-loaded setup may not be the friendliest setup to have on the bike, as they tend to be a bit too soft and dance around too much on bumpy roads. The suspensions at the front also come with covers to keep the oil seal secure from debris.
The Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 has spoked metal wheels, which perfectly matches the aesthetics of the bike. It has a 90/17 and a 110/17 tire setup. The front tire is okay for a 125cc bike which is compact. The rear wheel would have been better if it was a bit thicker at 120 or 130. The rear wheel has a risk of sliding or skidding on the road during sudden hard brakes.
The Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 is targeted towards café racer lovers. This bike will satisfy the people who are looking for a good-looking café racer bike but also regularly commutes. This bike is also very forgiving towards beginners, as this is not very overwhelming. This bike will be appealing to beginners and classic lovers.
Since there are not classic bikes at this price range of this segment, it can be said that this bike has no competition.
On average, the Victor-R Cafe Racer 125 is a good looking, nimble, and simple café racer bike. This is a bike that is the response to many Bangladeshi consumer’s needs. A complete café racer is something that the Bangladeshis love and will appreciate greatly.
