This 650cc machine has debuted in the Royal Enfield (RE) Continental motorcycle series which is a dedicated affordable scrambler motorcycle. The motorcycle attractively features modern café-racer attire blending with adorable old-school vides.

In the design, both the GT650 and GT 450 model now shares the same design. Both the motorcycle nicely features modern café-racer attire and old-school-styled body parts. Along with a naked body profile, lowered and flattened seat, bold and edgy fuel tank, compact side panels, and low-mounted wider upright handlebar, the motorcycle truly translates to classic scrambler profile. Accordingly, the riding and handling features are also characterized to give the rider a relaxed and comfortable riding experience.

In the rests, the motorcycle features a round-shaped bigger size headlamp beholding a round-pit ODO console on the top. The front end remained open and there is no windshield mounted in the front. Rear-view mirrors are mounted on the wider handlebar. After the puffed and edgy fuel tank, the seat is the single-piece unit where the tail-end is compact and fully naked. The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is a retro-neo-styled urban scrambler motorcycle produced by Royal Enfield India. It comes with a steel tube cradle frame. On the wheels, the motorcycle is fitted with an old-school wheel setup featuring 18-inch all-black alloy rims and dual-sport tires. 

In the braking system the motorcycle is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes in it’s both wheels and features dual-channel ABS enhancement. In the suspension system, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 features a longer travel suspension setup. In the front, it features upright telescopic fork suspension, and at the rear, it holds gas charged dual shock absorbers fitted with the swingarm from both sides.

The new Royal Continental GT 650 is a classic-styled scrambler motorcycle. It comes equipped with a robust 648cc, four-stroke, air-oil-cooled, parallel twin-cylinder engine. The engine features an electronic fuel injection system and is paired with a 6-speed gear transmission in the pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5-6. The engine starting is facilitated by an electric start system only.

In terms of power and performance, the new Royal Enfield Continental GT 650's low-emission engine has tuned for smoother power delivery, sharp acceleration, and efficient fuel economy. However, this engine is tuned to produce a maximum power output of 47HP at 7,150RPM and a torque of 52Nm at 5,250RPM.
