Dayun has been working in Bangladesh for quite some time. Dayun is brought to Bangladesh by the Bangladeshi motorcycle manufacturer, Roadmaster. Dayun is a motorcycle manufacturer based in Yuncheng, Shanxi, China. Over the years, Roadmaster has brought many Dayun motorcycles to Bangladesh. Dayun Sprout is a 100cc commuter bike by the company.
The Dayun Sprout is a commuter motorcycle. This bike has a long single seat setup. The seat is quite wide and long, which allows the rider and the pillion to have quite a lot of space. The bike also has a double-cradle frame, which keeps the engine secure. The bike has an ergonomic design which allows for a comfortable ride through the tiring traffic.

Both the colors of the bike come with sporty decals. The color combination of the bikes is quite attractive and exceptional.
One of the major reasons for riders to opt for commuter bikes is the mileage. It doesn’t matter if the bikes are carbureted or fuel injected, any bike with mileage above 40kmpl is desirable to riders. The Dayun Sprout is expected to have a mileage of 60kmpl. This mileage will attract any rider whatsoever.
The light setup of the Sprout is not very unique but is good enough. The headlight of the bike is a halogen unit equipped with a big reflector. The headlight is good enough for the city commute; however, it is not the best for long rides out of town at night.

The weight of the bike will allow the rider to spend a long time in the traffic without getting tired. The bike has a wheelbase of 1245mm. The wheelbase is quite short and this makes the bike quite nimble.
Engine and Transmission:
The Dayun Sprout comes with a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 2-valve, and 98.35cc engine. The engine is carbureted and air-cooled. The engine pumps out around 6.4BHP of power at 7500rpm and 7.9Nm of torque at 6000rpm. The power of the bike is quite less, which makes the bike quite risky to ride on the highway. The bike is expected to have a mileage of around 60kmpl, which is what every commuter has been looking for.
The Dayun Sprout has a wet multi-plate clutch system. It has a 5-speed gearbox, which will allow more torque to hit the wheels. The bike is expected to have a top speed of around 80-90kmph.
Brakes, Suspensions, and Wheels:
The Dayun Sprout has a full drum brake setup. The front has brake is okay, but not the best, as a drum brake may not be highly suitable for emergency braking. The rear brake is also a drum, which makes the bike not very good for braking at high speeds. Hence the emergency braking would not be adequate for most riders.
The Dayun Sprout has telescopic suspensions at the front, and the rear has two spring-loaded shock absorbers. The front suspension is expected to hold up well. The rear suspension will be quite good for riding with a pillion; however, it is not suggested to lean while cornering with the bike.
The Dayun Sprout has alloy wheels. The front and rear wheels have 2.50/18, and 2.75/18 tires respectively. For a low capacity commuter bike, these wheels may be enough. However, a tad bit thicker tires would have been better for the bike’s grip while braking.
The Dayun Sprout is a great and simple bike for the regular commuter. These commuters come with great mileage, which every commuter looks for. These motorcycles are for the people who are looking for a motorcycle solely for the means of transportation. These motorcycles are not for the street Rossis or the desi Marquez’s.
