Uttara Motors Ltd launches Bajaj V15 In Bangladesh: Event Details
Uttara Motors Ltd launches Bajaj V15 in Bangladesh today at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel with the price tag of 177,500 BDT. Bajaj V15 is made from the metal of India’s first aircraft carrier INS Vikrant, which played a decisive & heroic role in our 1971 Liberation War. The Invincible Bajaj V embodies the spirit of liberation.

In his speech Mr. Matiur Rahman said that Bajaj is currently the biggest brand of motorcycle in Bangladesh in terms of Sales. Bajaj have around 225 3S centre in the country with over 200 authorized service & spares dealers. According to our data (which might be wrong) we believe that Bajaj itself have 35-40 % of motorcycle market share in Bangladesh over the past 4 years.
He requested to the government to permit bikes up to 250cc in Bangladesh, reduce the CKD tax in Bangladesh so that more people can ride motorcycle, hence it will help with the economy of Bangladesh. He also requested for a good policy for the motorcycle manufacturer which will help to have more motorcycles on the road.
Guest Speaker Major General Shafiuallah talked about his time in during the Liberation War. He stated how INS Vikrant helped Bangladesh to fight against the Pakistani army during the war.
V15 feature a 150cc air-cooled twin spark 2 valve engine which gives out 11.8 BHP & 13 NM of Toque, currently this is the highest torque engine in the market (air cooled engines). Overall presence of the bike will make you feel like a café racer, the sound of the engine is thundering and way better then the sound of Bajaj Pulsar AS150.
The brakes are front single disc 240mm, with rear drum, but instead of thin tyres Bajaj went one step ahead of having 120 rear section tyres with better grip & with 2 inch smaller rear wheels from the front 18 inch. There is 33 mm front fork with Twin-Spring loaded hydraulic type- with gas filled rear suspension.
