2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF Features All-New Look & Design:
The new 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF releveled its face this May 2019 under the shade of Suzuki Motorcycle India. The motorcycle came with completely a new exterior, therefore, the looks and design are completely new on the new version (Source). Further, the new model comes with a few technical updates. Hence altogether, those make the new SF an all-new model.
Remaining the iconic dents on fuel-tank and few other parts the new Gixxer SF redesigned with all-new exterior design. The motorcycle covered with the completely new design of aerodynamic panel from head to tail. The front assembly, therefore, the headlamp and ODO got all-new shape and design.
The LED headlamp is the multi-pit unit that is anchor-shaped. The windshield is compact and the digital ODO is completely new with the new design of housing.
Here, the older pipe handlebar has replaced and adopted the sporty clip-on handlebar. Further, the fuel tank design revised with iconic shape and the side-panels got a massive update. The aerodynamic panel is more finished and covers a wider area. After the segmented and new design of split-seat, the tail also got an attractive end.
With the anchor-shaped LED tail-lamp, the new design of rear-panel, and split grabrails the tail is too sporty, compact, and damn gorgeous. Further, the rear got a new bikini mudguard and the dual-barrel exhaust got a new chrome extension. Hence altogether the new 2019 Suzuki GIxxer SF is more furnished, finished and updated with new sporty appearances.
Frame, Wheel, Brake & Suspension Setup:
The new Suzuki Gixxer SF structured on the diamond frame that hired from the previous version. Hence, obviously, it profiled with few-dimensional differences. It’s due to the new design of exteriors and extensions. Further, the wheel, brake, and suspension system also carry a passive similarity.
The wheels of the new Gixxer SF are the same wheel as was in the previous version. Those are equipped with 6-spoke alloy rim with tubeless type tires. Hence, both the wheels are fitted with hydraulic disc brakes. In addition, the new version comes with standard single-channel ABS enhancements.
In the suspension system, it comes with 41mm upright telescopic fork suspension in the front. At the rear its mono-suspension that fitted with rectangular swing arm. Further, in the new version of SF, both the suspensions are tweaked for compatible performance matching with its new design and riding ergonomics.
2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF Engine Performance & Feature:
Coming to the engine of the new Suzuki Gixxer SF it grabbed the same engine as was in the previous version. But it updated and featured for more efficient and précised performances. Thereof, it’s the same 155cc longer stroke engine with the bore & stroke of 56.0mmX62.9mm. Further mentioning again, it’s a four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled. SOHC 2-valve engine.
In the new version, the engine has replaced the older carburetor fuel feeding system. Therefore, the electronic fuel injection system adopted in this version. Moreover, it tuned with BS-IV standard including Suzuki SEP technology. Thereby, the engine now delivers the maximum power of 14.1PS and torque of 14.0NM.
Further, the transmission of the new Gixxer SF remaining the same with the 5-speed gearbox setup. Meanwhile, in this new refinement, Suzuki has omitted the older kick starter from this engine. Thereby, only the electric starter covering this phase. So, after considering all the update and enhancements, the new Gixxer SF is more efficient in performance and further fuel-economy.
