H Power CRZ 165
Market status: Available in Bangladesh
Today we’ll talk about the Ducati Supersport, an Italian superbike with 110BHP and 93Nm of torque. Oops! Sorry! We’re talking about the H Power CRZ 165, a Bangladeshi manufactured bike by the company H Power. The H Power CRZ 165 is the spitting image of the Ducati Supersport. However, the heart and the organs of the H Power CRZ 165 and the Ducati Supersport are heaven and earth apart.
H Power is a Bangladeshi motorcycle manufacturer that has been manufacturing motorcycles since 1995. Since its inception, H Power has been trying to manufacture motorcycles with the newest technologies and highest efficiency. Initially, the H Power CRZ 165 was imported as CBU and they cost quite a lot (GPX Demon 150GR). Now that it is being imported by H Power as CKD units and is being assembled in Bangladesh, the bike costs two-third of the previous price.
Key Features of H Power CRZ 165:
The first and foremost feature of the H Power CRZ 165 is the design. As previously mentioned, it is a spitting image of the Ducati Supersport. However, this bike has a less aggressive design than the Ducati. This bike also has a wider rear seat and a compact shape. This may be a cosmetic clone, but the clone has its personality.
The H Power CRZ 165 comes with an instrument cluster than most bikers would die for. The basic features are the speedometer, rev counter, odometer, and fuel gauge. However, with the previously mentioned functions, it has a trip meter, a gear indicator, and a clock. The cherry on top: the backlight color can be changed with the push of a button.
The H Power CRZ 165 comes in two colors. They are:
Black (more like grey).
Both colors have very little decals. The decals are only the brandings.
The H Power CRZ 165 comes with two things that only an Indian KTM Duke 125 and a KTM RC 125 comes with. A Trellis Perimeter Chassis and an underbelly exhaust. Although an underbelly exhaust might not be the best for the Bangladeshi monsoon, a Trellis Perimeter frame is strong enough to take the beating of a Bangladeshi city road.
The H Power CRZ 165 comes fitted with a clip-on handlebar, which makes the bike much more aggressive to ride. The bike is a rather short bike with a lower seat height of 780mm. But regardless of the low seat height, the bike has a high ground clearance of 210mm. This makes the bike completely immune from most speed bumps in town. The bike also has a fuel tank of 10liters, so don’t keep your hopes up during long rides.
The length, width, height, and weight of the H Power CRZ 165 are 1835mm, 770mm, 1060mm, and 130kg respectively. The bike is on the lighter side, so the accelerations will a bit more aggressive, due to being more nimble than other bikes. The bike also has a wheelbase of 1250mm, which makes it compact, but the wheelbase is not very long, which might make the bike a bit unstable around the corners.
Engine and Transmission:
The H Power CRZ 165 comes with a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 2-valve, and 165cc engine. The engine is carbureted and air-cooled. The engine pumps out around 14.1BHP of power at 8000rpm and 13.5Nm of torque at 6500rpm. The engine may not be very powerful, but the mileage is expected to be around 35-40kmpl, which will be enough for a bike of this capacity.
The H Power CRZ 165 has a wet multi-plate clutch system. It has a 6-speed gearbox, which matches its description of being a sportbike. The bike is expected to have a top speed of around 125kmph.
Brakes, Suspensions, and Wheels:
The H Power CRZ 165 has a dual disc brake setup. The dual disc setup significantly increases the braking performance of a bike. The bike however does not get ABS or CBS. However, the front disc has a dual caliper setup, which makes it very good at emergency braking situations.
The H Power CRZ 165 has upside-down telescopic suspensions at the front, and the rear has a mono-shock suspension. The front suspension being USD, may not respond very well to the bumpy roads of Bangladesh. However, the rear suspension may perform significantly well on bumpy roads.
The H Power CRZ 165 has alloy wheels. The front and rear wheels have 120/70, and 140/70 tires respectively. The front and rear tire are both perfect for the bike. As it is a sportbike, riders will tend to lean while cornering, hence a thick 140 section tire at the rear perfectly matches the personality of the bike.
The H Power CRZ 165 is targeted towards the young sportbike crazy generation. A youngster riding the bike to university will love it. Even a young adult getting on this bike on the way to the office will enjoy it. The H Power CRZ 165 is a near-perfect sportbike at a very cheap price. This will also attract a lot of people who are looking for a good-looking bike for a price that won’t put a hole in their pockets.
The H Power CRZ 165 has quite a few competitors. They are:
- Lifan KPR 165R.
- Loncin GP 165.
- Keeway RKR 165.
- Roadmaster Rapido 165.
Overall, the H Power CRZ 165 is a powerful 165cc sportbike and is very much commendable. The H Power CRZ 165 has made quite an impression on the Bangladeshi youth for being very attractive and ticking all the boxes a young rider has.
