New Suzuki Gixxer SF Coming Soon In Bangladesh
Suzuki Gixxer caught the bikers in storm; bikers have to pre-book the bikes to get them such is the demand of the bike in Bangladesh. We think bikers have good reason to do that, firstly it’s a new Japanese brand after Yamaha and Honda to set up manufacturing plant in Bangladesh and secondly Gixxer seems to be the best 150cc bike in its class, & just as you thought that all is well, Suzuki India just launched Suzuki Gixxer SF, a faired version of Gixxer in India today.
The new Suzuki Gixxer SF features the same 155cc engine with have SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) & it pumps out 14.8 BHP @ 8000 rpm and 14 NM of torque. It is also believe that it has the same chassis as does the Gixxer.
On picture it looks good as unlike Yamaha Fazer, Suzuki Gixxer have a full fairing where the engine isn’t visible from the side, there are air scoop in the front of the fairing which will allow air to pass into the engine compartment to keep it cool. Suzuki says that Gixxer SF has been developed in the same wind-tunnel where bikes like Hayabusa, GSX-R & MotoGP machines are developed.
The new Gixxer SF comes with a pinstripe on the wheels and new key mascot. New Gixxer SF get a full sports fairing, LED tail lamps, clear lens indicators. The engine is still a carburetor engine and just like Gixxer it has no rear disc brake. The bike does look good on picture unlike Gixxer which many stated that is a bit small in size, especially in the rear end.
The bike will be available in 3 different colours, which includes Pearl White & Glass Black while a Special MotoGP edition was also launched as Racing Blue which will cost more then the standard Gixxer SF.
Suzuki Gixxer SF Specifications
Rancon Motorcycles LTD didn’t confirm us the launch date of the bike in Bangladesh neither the price of the bike. There is already Gixxer in the market and the key reason why they bought up a new faired version of Gixxer to fight it up against Yamaha Fazer which according to us is the best TOURING motorcycle in Bangladesh currently.
It’s nice to see that even in the low 150cc segment companies are offering different bikes for different purpose so that people for their purpose can buy the bike they can use.
