Lifan is one of the most popular Chinese motorcycle brand in Bangladesh. They gained their popularity with their flagship product KPR series. Alongside KPR they also has a wide range of products from Cruisers to Touring bike, now a new one is added, a Cafe Racer bike Lifan KPM150 which is launched in China just a few days back.
We can see that it has taken inspiration from BMW R9T and features a LED instrument clusters which has USB Charging port. The striking thing about the bike is the LED headlight added with an stainless steel exhaust.
This brand new bike features a single cylinder liquid cooling 150cc engine which produces 17.7 BHP @ 9500 RPM & 14.5 NM of Torque @ 7500 RPM. The bike is matted with a 6 speed gearbox & Lifan claims that it will have a top speed of 100 kmph with mileage feedback of 40 kmpl.
Lifan KPM150 has a single downtube frame linked to an inverted front fork & a rear mono-shock. They also added alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, twin disc brake & like Lifan KPT might come with a single-channel ABS. The bike is equipped with a 180mm ground clearance & an 800 mm seat height, both of which are standard.
Other aesthetic additions include tuck-n-roll seats, funky handlebars and blacked-out engine covers. This could be a game changer for Lifan as it has a wide range of products to fight in the market in Bangladesh.
Rasel Industries Ltd are the sole distributor of Lifan motorcycles in Bangladesh. Starting with LIfan KPR series which has been the best selling Chinese sports bike in Bangladesh, then they came with Lifan KP series, which mostly has KPS & KP which is their lineup for Lifan’s naked bike segment.
Few days back Lifan launched 3 scooters in the Bangladeshi market, among whih Lifan KPV got huge response in the market and now adding Lifan KPM150 in the segment will help to strenght up their line up.
