Over One year after the launching of Honda CB Hornet 160R Bangladesh Honda Pvt Ltd official launched the brand new Honda CB Hornet 160R CBS in Bangladesh at Dhaka Bike Show 2019.
The brand new Honda CB Hornet 160R CBS will have almost all the things similar as the current Honda CB Hornet 160R but will get in addition a rear disc brake with CBS (Combined Braking System). With a new disc brake the weight of the bike has gone up by 2 kg.
CBS (Combined Brake System) is mechanical equipment which is widely found in scooters. Only very few motorcycles in Bangladesh have this system. The system works by linking the front & rear brakes of a motorcycle.
What happens is that then the rear brake is pressed by the foot then both the front & rear brakes are applied. The pressure of the bike is determined by the proportional control valve. This CBS help to increase the braking efficiency of the bike and hence reduce the braking distance of the motorcycle.
Other then the CBS the overall bike will be remaining the same. Honda CB Hornet 160R will still have the same 163 cc air cooled engine which will be giving a trust of 15.1 BHP & 14.8 NM of Torque. We have tested this motorcycle and you can find more details about this in our Test Ride Review article.
Price of Honda CB Hornet 160R CBS will be 201,800 BDT while the single disc Honda CB Hornet will have a price tag of 189,800 BDT. With the booking of Single Disc Honda CB Hornet 160R now the bikers will get Free Registration support of 12073 BDT from from 14th March till 14th April 2019 across all authorized Honda dealers in Bangladesh.
