Hero Motocorp is one of the largest two wheeler companies in the world & it is also one of the top motorcycle brands in Bangladesh. In July of this year Hero launched Splendor iSmart 110 in India & come at the first quarter of 2017 Niloy Motors will launch Hero Splendor iSmart 110 in Bangladesh. Therefore here is our Hero Splendor iSmart 110 2016 – Coming Soon In Bangladesh.

Hero Motorcorp is a company that formed after Honda separated from the partnership of Hero Honda back in 2010 and Hero MotoCorp started their journey back in 2011. It is expected that Hero will come out of Honda legacy by 2018 and over the past few years Hero have invested a lot to develop new bikes for them which won’t carry Honda legacy.

Hero Splendor I Smart 110 is the first motorcycle to be completely designed & developed by Hero which also carries an indigenous engine. Alone with the engine the bike also get a new chassis and also get BS4 compliant engine.

Key Features of Hero Splendor iSmart 110:

  • Attractive speedometer which both analog & digital console.
  • Stylish split grab rails
  • Stylish graphics
  • New Contemporary Headlamp and AHO
  • Revolutionary i3s Technology.
  • Tubeless tyres & Pinstriped wheel

The bike comes with i3S technology which helps to save fuel by switching off the engine automatically when the bike is standing ideal in traffic jam. This in some way is comparable to start stop system of cars and this type of technology is very efficient in start stop traffic.

This system start to work the moment we need to move and the engine starts when the clutch is pressed for a small amount of time. This is the first motorcycle from Hero in the 110 segments; the bike gets a new engine that is completely designed by Hero which pumps out 9.2 BHP & 9 NM of Torque from its 110cc engine.  The bike still gets 4 speed gearbox.

According to Hero Motocorp officials the bike will be one of the most fuel efficient bike in the segment and also it will have a top speed of around 90km/h. Hero says that it will cover 0-60 km/h in round about 7.45 seconds.

The bike weigh 115 kg which to me seems a little bit on the heavier side, fuel tank of the bike is 8.5 liters only and sadly there are no front disc brake for the bike. Front suspension is telescopic hydraulic shock absorber while the rear suspensions are adjustable shock absorber.

Overall the motorcycle looks good & for sure it is probably the best design motorcycle from Hero in the commuter segment and looking at the price in India we think it will be priced in the exclusive segment in Bangladesh. We are expecting the bike to get launch in Bangladesh at the tail end of 2016 and price can be around 145,000-160,000 BDT (estimated).

To me biking is freeing your SOUL which can FLY with the wind. Bike riding is my PASSION & Touring is my HOBBY. The main goal is to update the bikers of Bangladesh with the latest news and reviews of motorcycles in Bangladesh.
One of the craziest things I ever did was riding 1150 km for 24 hours; it was just to replicate how it feels to go though Lemans 24 hrs.
