Hero Passion XPro – A Refreshed Look & Design
The new Hero Passion XPro is the latest extension in the Hero Passion series. The motorcycle got an all-new look, design, and features. The machine officially debuts in 2018 Auto Expo and thereby rolling on. Besides XPro Passion the series also holding two more models with different design and features. Therefore, the XPro holding completely a new look and identity.
The new Passion XPro covered with a slim and sleek exterior with sharper but the rounded edges. The body panel is synchronized like one-piece skin from head to tail. Thereby, the dual tone color scheme covers the entire as a single shade.
Here, the headlamp is sporty and bold with a double pilot lamp setup. The ODO console is an analog-digital combo. After that, the fuel tanks are the most appealing part with nice and sporty side-scoops. Hereafter, the side panels go wavy until the sharper tail end. The tail looks quite like an arrow-head as the LED tail-lamp designed like that.
Coming to the seat its single piece but quite larger, and comfortably segmented for rider and pillion. The grab rail is also a single-piece and made of metal that nicely crafts the sporty end. Further, in other enhancements, the motorcycle comes with bikini rear wheel-guard, sharee-guard, where the regular mudguard, crash-guard are all fitted in place.
Hero Passion XPro – The Frame, Wheel, Brake & Suspension
The new Passion XPro structured on a tubular cradle frame. The frame featured to support mounting all the commuting friendly enhancements like crash-guard, sharee-guard, etc. Here the wheels are 18” wheels, those come with 5-spoke sporty alloy rim with tubed tires.
Coming to the braking system, its hydraulic disk brake in front and rear is conventional drum type. Further, the XPro also available with drum brake options in front. In the suspension system, the XPro comes with hydraulic telescopic fork suspension. At the rear its double unit setup. Hence, those are sealed hydraulic type and featured with 5-way adjustments.
Hero Passion XPro – Riding & Handling Features
The Hero XPro is a very handy designed commuter with sleek and comfortable body ergonomics. It comes with comparatively a larger and spacious seat. The seating placement is comfortable with all upright riding position.
Here the riding position is upright with all upright arrangements of pipe-handlebar and other control levers. Further, the bike designed handy with a comfortable lower weight of 119kg. Moreover, 790mm saddle height with 165mm ground clearance made it nimbler for daily commuting.
Additionally, the motorcycle comes with safety enhancements like a crash-guard, sharee-guard, etc. Hence, the sporty wheel-guard, metal grab rail, and exhaust heat shield also enhance further utility. Therefore, with all the arrangements the new passion XPro more convenient to ride, control and handle.
Hero Passion XPro – Engine & Feature
The new Passion XPro comes with a new 110cc gasoline engine. According to Hero MotoCorp, it’s their own developed engine. It already successfully tested on their Splendor 110 model. Thereby, they claim this engine is more efficient and delivers enhanced performances.
The engine is a precisely 109.15cc engine with the bore & Stroke of 53.0mmx49.5mm. It’s a single-cylinder, air-cooled, and four-stroke engine that featured with OHC 2-valve. The engine feeds with carburetor and can be started both with the kick and electric start.
This commuter profiled engine can produce the maximum power of 7.0kW and 9.0NM of torque. Besides the performance figure, XPro also featured with Hero’s i3s fuel economy feature. Hence, it also assures a decent figure of fuel economy. Therefore, the new Passion XPro is the balanced pack of performance and fuel economy.
