Honda Wave Alpha 100 Cub has been officially launched by MD & CEO of Bangladesh Honda Pvt Ltd Mr. Yoichi Mizutani, Mr. Shoichi Sato Head of Production of BHL, also present was Chairman Mr. Humayun Kabir and Managing Director Mr. Mostafizur Rashid Bhuiyan from Wings BD Ltd & other senior officials from Bangladesh Honda Pvt Ltd.
In the press release Honda Bangladesh Pvt Ltd said that they are trying their best to be number 1 motorcycle brand in Bangladesh just like they did in many other countries in the world, & to provide variation in the motorcycle enthusiast in Bangladesh they launch Honda Wave Alpha 110. Wave Alpha is an evolution of Honda C-50 Cub & they will directly import the cub from Vietnam.
Wave Alpha is very popular in countries like Thailand and Vietnam, currently the bike is coming from Vietnam as CBU to maintain the top notch quality of the bike. The new Cub will featured a 100cc 4 stroke engine with advance EVAPU system which according to Honda engineers will help to increase the fuel efficiency, according to their test the mileage which they will get will be around 80 km/l.

The bike ensures stable operation mode and durability on all road conditions. With unsurpassed carburetor the engine of the Wave does meet with Euro 2 emissions. The quality of the CUB is best among any other two wheelers in Bangladesh & it is perfect for urban cities like Dhaka which is mostly packed with traffic jams.
The new bike is a harmonious combination between modern lines and vivid colours, attracting everyone so that they stare at the bike on the road. The bike features halogen headlights with the ability of multi-dimensional reflection.
The fuel tank is equipped with evaporative control system, which minimizes the spread of petrol vapor to the atmosphere. There is dry cell battery & the exhaust is designed with 2 layers of outer shield.
The design of the bike is pretty good and it is well equipped in the price range, the switch quality of the bikes is good, speedometer has a gear indicator and though it doesn’t have wider tyres I think there won’t be any trouble with the balance of the bike. I think it would have been better if they could have given the bike alloy wheels and tubeless tyres.
The indicators are integrated to the body for safety, there is a grab rail & I think the cub does look good in its part. Because it is a cub I think both Male and Female can enjoy the ride with maximum pleasure. To be honest am not happy with the price tag of the cub but I think as a daily commuter in Dhaka city it will be a fantastic machine.
