Dhaka Bike Show 2018 Review
Dhaka Bike Show 2018 was a fantastic event for the bike lovers in Bangladesh. Although many outside Dhaka couldn’t come and enjoy program but we BikeBD who are the online media partner of the 4th Dhaka Bike Show 2018 tried our level best to cover everything from through our website, Youtube Channel & Facebook. Lets sum up everything of what happened in these 3 days event.
Rancon Motorbikes Ltd stole the show with the display of Suzuki Hayabusa. We want to thank them for giving us the opportunity to do a small first impression video on the motorcycle. The bike was at display for the whole 3 days and many a times they turned on the engine to let the bike lovers listen to the sound of thunder.
BHL displayed Honda X Blade & Honda CB Unicorn160. Those two bikes carries the same engine as Honda CB Hornet160R. X Blade is a bike targeted for young generation while CB Unicorn160R is targeted for the riders who are a bit aged up. We are not sure when BHL will introduced them in BD but they did confirm that sometime soon this year they will introduce Honda Dio.
On Friday evening around 100+ Honda CB Hornet 160R owners came at the parking lot of the event where they were greeted with some DJ show by DJ Sonica. Throughout the three days event bikers they had test ride event on Honda CB Hornet 160R.
This is a newly launched motorcycle brand in Bangladesh & they came up with only 4 bikes to start with. You can find more details about the 4 models including their price in our previous article.
Lifan introduced Lifan KPR165R for the bike sports bike lovers. It will have a 165cc water cooled EFI engine. The engine will produce around 17 BHP & 17 NM of Torque. The bike will be priced around 220 k – 230 k & it will be available from the first week of May 2018. Throughout the event they gave free registration to the bikers who booked Lifan KPR150 & Lifan KPS150 from the event.
Keeway motorcycles officially introduced Benelli TNT150 and they said that the price of the bike will be around 180-185 k & it will be available from mid May. They will be opening the booking very soon and also they gave free registration offer to the bikers who booked the motorcycles from their pavilion.
Roadmaster displayed all their usual models. They gave special discounts to the bikers from the stall. Their biggest attraction was the test ride event of of Roadmaster Rapido at the parking lot of the show.
Bajaj displayed their usual bikes in the show including Bajaj Avenger & Pulsar NS160, but under the rader they displayed Bajaj Discover 11o which they said will be available in April in the market.
They too didn’t opted to go for anything different in the show. They displayed all their usual model of the bike in the event.
Motorcycle World Ltd
They displayed KTM, Aprilia & GPX bikes at their pavilion. They did say that they will introduce KTM RC125 & Aprilia Tuono 125 in Bangladesh come at the end of the month.
Speeder motorcycles gave good amount of discount and gift items with their bikes, they were taking bookings & very soon they said that they will introduce some commuting motorcycles for the bikers.
That’s a small summation of all the things that happened from the bike stalls in Dhaka Bike Show 2018.
