Overview: Vespa has been in the Indian market for quite some time now with their line of scooters and they have had reasonably good sales numbers as well considering their positioning in the premium segment. At a time when there was very little variety in the Indian scooter market, they’ve been a breath of fresh air for those who could afford to spend more. Recently they have been launch their scooter in Bangladesh. Vespa VXL 150 is one of their scooter.
Design: The styling of the Vespa VXL 150 harks back to the retro design of the old-school Vespa scooters, which gives it a simple and clean look. It gets a host of trendy features, an electronic display in the instrument cluster and a new mode button on the switch gear. Chrome has been liberally used on the round headlamp, mirrors, parts of the front suspension and the grab rail. The seat has been revamped to offer more comfort for the rider and pillion. The alloy wheels have also been redesigned.
Engine & Transmission: Vespa VXL 150 has 3 Valve, Aluminium Cylinder Head, Overhead Cam and Roller Rocker Arm 150 cc engine which can produced 11.4 BHP @ 7000 RPM Maximum power and 11.6 NM @ 5500 RPM Maximum torque. It bore is 62mm and stroke is 48mm. Its ignition system is CDI. Its starting method is Electric & kick. Its fuel supply system is carburetor. It has automatic gear box with automatic clutch.
