Overview:  KR Industries Ltd launches Vespa officially in Bangladesh.  Piaggio is an Italian company which owns motorcycle companies like Vespa, Aprilia, Derbi & many others. The Vespa scooters which will come in Bangladesh will come straight from India. Piaggio has operations in over 50 countries worldwide. Vespa is a scooter company. The company is formed in 1946 & they are best known for their paint quality & steel unibody and design. The designs of the scooters are very unique.

Design: Inspired by the beaches of Italy, the Vespa Elegante 150 cc is offered in only cream color only for Bangladesh. It also comes equipped with color-coordinated twin leather finished seats, a tinted fly screen and an exclusive ‘Elegante Badge’. The scooter also gets accessories including a color-coordinated helmet and an all-round chrome guard kit and a front bumper guard. Completing the look, this scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tires.

Engine & Transmission:   Vespa Elegante 150 has 3 valves, Aluminium Cylinder Head, Overhead Cam and Roller Rocker Arm 150 cc engine which can produce 11.4 BHP @ 7000 RPM Maximum power and 11.5 NM @ 5500 RPM Maximum torque. Its ignition system is the CDI unit with variable advance and HV coil. Its starting method is only electric. Its fuel supply system is the carburetor. This scooter has an Automatic Transmission system and also has an automatic type clutch.
