Hero HF Deluxe Specifciation Breakdown and Analysis
Overview: Hero HF Deluxe is one of the most popular 100cc bikes from Hero MotoCorp and is a bestseller from the Hero stable in the commuter segment. Targeted at both urban and rural customer base, the HF Deluxe offers a good combination of decent looks, adequate performance and fuel efficiency – making it an attractive proposition for those looking for a fuel efficient, low maintenance motorcycle.
One of the more affordable Hero products in the commuter class motorcycle segment, the HF Deluxe continues to clock in decent sales numbers for Hero MotoCorp. Formerly known as the CD Deluxe under the Hero Honda partnership, this 100cc bike has been rebranded as the HF Deluxe after Hero parted ways with former partner Honda.
Body: Although offering simple commuter looks and ergonomics, the Hero HF Deluxe offers stylish 3D graphics with a trapezoidal multi-focal reflector headlamp sporting a bikini fairing, understated side panels sporting the HF Deluxe graphics and small rear side panels sporting an alloy grab rail. The instrument panel is a two-pod analog cluster, with the left one displaying speedometer and odometer and the right one displaying a large fuel gauge and other tell tale lights.
Engine: The Hero HF Deluxe is powered by an air-cooled 97.2cc four stroke, single cylinder engine which makes 8.36PS power at 8,000rpm and 8.05Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. A strong mid-range and refined nature of the engine makes it a popular commute choice offering superb fuel efficiency. The engine lacks top end, but makes up for that by its frugal running costs and great mileage.
Brakes and Suspension: The HF Deluxe features power start, five-spoke alloy wheels, telescopic fork and two step adjustable hydraulic shocks at the rear. Electric start is available as an option on a higher variant. Braking system is shoe-type with a 130mm drum at the front and 110mm drum at the rear.
