Bajaj CT100B Will Be Launch in Bangladesh In 2018: Rumor or True ?
Bajaj Ct100B will be launch in Bangladesh in 2018, is this a rumor or true? The bike will be the cheapest motorcycle in Bangladesh from any Indian motorcycle company. We are expecting that this 100 cc commuting motorcycle might cost between 65,000 – 70,000 BDT in Bangladesh but we are not 100% sure whether this is true or not.
Bajaj CT100 is one of the most popular motorcycles in Bangladesh, it is widely use in rural area in where it is mostly use as a motorcycle taxi where they carry 2-3 people as passengers to transport in area where public transport can’t reach.
Bajaj CT100 B is powered by a 100 cc air cooled 4 stroke engine which produces 8 BHP @ 7,500 RPM & 8 NM of Torque @ 4,500 RPM. The power was delivered through a 4 speed gearbox. Bajaj claims that the mileage of this motorcycle will be around 99 kmpl (under test condition) & top speed around 90 km/h.
The bike design is very simple. It has Tubular single down tube with lower cradle frame. The headlight of the bike is a big round unit & up front there are hydraulic telescopic 125 mm travel suspensions while on the rear there are SNS suspensions which travel 100 mm. Brakes are conventional drum brakes which are 110 mm. Tyres are thin as they have spoke wheels there are no tubeless tyres.
The motorcycle weighs only 109 kg & in its fuel tank it can carry 10.5 litres of fuel. They did add front leg guard & saree guard as standard for more comfortable ride. This motorcycle is targeted to the bikers who want a motorcycle at low cost for daily commuting. Also many people these days wants a motorcycle for ride sharing activity like Uber, Pathao, SAM & etc this motorcycle will serve them as well.
Now lets come to the title of the article, is this a rumour or it is true. Well the demand for low cost commuting motorcycles is increasing in Bangladesh over the past few months, mostly as people are fed up with city traffic jams & these days many are using a motorcycle as a ride sharing business or people are using it as a passenger, with this bike coming with a 100 cc engine with good enough space for two grown up people to sit on it & if they give it a price range around 70 k mark then I think Uttara Motors will do a good job if they bring this motorcycle in the market.
Currently TVS XL100 is the cheapest two wheelers in Bangladesh but that is a cub. In terms of motorcycles Runner RT is the cheapest motorcycle in the market. So Bajaj Ct100B will be launch in Bangladesh in 2018 shouldn’t be a rumour.
